Languedoc-Roussillon Values for WBW 33

Marcus from Doktor Weingolb has chosen Languedoc-Roussillon Values as the theme for Wine Blogging Wednesday 33. Join us May 16 to see what $15-$30 USD will buy you from this French wine region.

WBW 32 Summary

I’m a bit on the late side, but the folks at the Wine Cask blog posted a summary of WBW 32. Quite an assortment of wines tasted and a pretty good turnout given the difficulty of the theme. Looks like the regular releases held up pretty well against their more expensive reserves. Check out the entire roundup here.

WBW 32 Theme Announced

The Wine Cask Blog is asking us to compare a winery’s regular and reserve bottling for the next edition of Wine Blogging Wednesday. Just pick up two wines from the same producer, grape variety and vintage; one the regular release, the other a reserve, taste and blog your notes.

Join us on Wednesday, April 11th to find out if the extra money is worth it or not.
