Say goodbye Chardonnay and hello Falanghina! Or Romorantin! Mencia or, heck, Moschofilero! If you have just been waiting to venture of the beaten path, now is your chance to try an obscure grape variety from it’s homeland! The justification is the 37th edition of the internet wine juggernaut known as Wine Blogging Wednesday and our theme is to “go native†and try an indigenous grape variety!

Just a quick note to let everyone with a blog know to act as normal and post there… those without, post here. Clear?
Update 8/8: It seems some folks are confused about what to do here with the new group blog so I’ll cover this in a bit more detail:
- Participants with blogs should post their entries at their own blog and trackback to Lenn’s post as is the normal custom. Also please send Lenn a quick email with your blog link.
- Those without blogs can register here and post their notes to this blog feed. Please note that your entry will go into the moderation queue and Lenn or I will approve and post shortly after you submit your draft.
- Lenn will post a summary of the event at his blog and cross-post here a few days after the event.
- I will also post a feed from Technorati on the sidebar to help follow the posts closer to real-time.
Sorry for the confusion.
Cheers!
